I had the pleasure of photographing one of my oldest (maybe I should say ‘long time’ friend? ‘Oldest’ makes me feel…. well. Old.) friends and his family a few weeks back. The star of the family is undoubtedly Miss Ella. She is three. She is feisty. She is… a wee little diva who loves princesses and dress up and despises the camera? Yep, yep and YEP. She definitely made me work for the smiles, but her session was a success none the less!

Another baby has grown up and hit the one year mark! This is the third time we’ve seen little lass Kiernan; first as an adorable baby bump, then as an amazingly beautiful newborn. Today she is back as a sweet tempered, almost walking on her own one year old. During her session, the weather was great, she was great, and even mommy and daddy were great! All around success if you ask me.

Spring has finally shown up in Seattle and I am all aflutter with one amazing family session after another. Up tonight is a baby planner pulling in for his 6 month session. Remember Kellan’s 3 month session? Well, prepare to have your socks knocked off because this little man is back and better than ever!
We met up last Sunday at my new favorite field in Mill Creek and he was a complete gem for over an hour. Mommy Kayti really rocked it out with fabulous wardrobe choices and daddy Fred brought on the baby smiles. Team work at its best for sure. Check out their extra big sneak peek below!

Back in early November, I had the pleasure of photographing my wonderful friends, their daughter and future son. The photo shoot was wonderful fun and we got to break the news to all their friends and family about the latest pregnancy via photos from their fall family session. They’ve also been seen on my blog before last year and the year before.
The latest session, and the sneak peek we are debuting today, is from Sydney’s maternity session for baby Bryson. We had some perfect spring weather and a nice hour together making some more memories for their family. I get the honor of photographing baby B’s birth and then newborn photos in a few weeks. Let’s just hope he stays still and cooks a little longer so the baby shower I’m throwing this Friday isn’t missing the guest of honor!

Yes. A pocket FULL of smiles… or at least that is where I am assuming Miss Ella hides all of her grins. And, she only doles them out for m&m’s. 2 FOR 1 m&m’s at that. Smart little stinker she is! I met up with her and her parents last weekend, in the glorious SUN, for an evening family session. Mom, dad and I had a blast. The dogs did great. Ella… did her own thing most of the time BUT she did not defeat me! Check her out below:

We’ve seen him twice before; during his completely breathtaking maternity session and again for for his tearless newborn session. Baby Luke is back and a big five months old! I met his parents at the University of Washington Quad area one Saturday morning to take advantage of the glorious cherry blossoms. Thankfully, we met relatively early because it seems that the cherry blossom trees at UW are one popular destination!

Mr Sullivan is back and a big 5 months! I last saw him at the end of 2011 for his sweet newborn session that included one of my all time favorite shots on his mama’s GORGEOUS Anthropologie duvet. Tonight, Sully, and the duvet!, are back! Sullivan was an absolute peach during his session; smiles, drooly giggles and little sneaky looks. He did great and I can’t wait until Sullivan’s family session this summer!

Sloan is back and better than ever! We’ve seen her a few times; during her mama’s GORGEOUS maternity session at Discovery Park in Seattle and then again for her sweet newborn session. She’s back today and is five months old and all kinds of amazing. And cute. And chubby.
And long suffering.
We put this baby girl in 6? 7? different outfits and sets. Her mama is MY kind of client. All kinds of frothy, frilly clothing, themes, props, and ideas await me at their home. I. LOVE. IT. Everything is a little over the top and completely adorable. Just like Miss Sloan. Check her out!

6 months have passed already? I can hardly believe it! First, the maternity session. Then, a newborn session. Now, he is back for a rolly, polly celebration of his half birthday! Kingston took a wonderful early morning nap for his session last Saturday and was more than happy to be poked, prodded, moved, propped and changed for about 35 minutes. Then, this little chunker got a little sleepy and was more than ready for snuggles.
I can’t wait to see him again soon! Enjoy!!

Sofia is back! The last time we saw her as a 40 day old for her newborn session. This little muffin is one of my favorites. She has a wonderful dog, lovely mum, funny dad and a great disposition. We spent a few hours last Friday playing dress up, singing songs and playing peek-a-boo. Miss Sofia gave me a HUGE range of expressions and is being justly rewarded with an extra large sneak peek. I just can’t resist!
