Sneak Peek… {lovebirds} Jennifer & Kevin | Bothell Couple Photographer

Bothell area Couple PhotographerStar Trek, 34 degrees, a fly.
For those of you who don’t know, I am NOT a morning person. Especially a ’34 degrees outside, frost on the ground and we’re outta coffee’ morning person. However. Considering the amount of fun I had traipsing around Canyon Park business park with Jen and Kevin, I may be able to be persuaded from my warm, cozy bed to see the morning sunrise more often.
Because these images are amazing.
I want them for myself. BIG. On a canvas. Beautiful images of you and your spouse are not super common unless you make it a priority. So the kids are out of the house? Do it. Maybe the kids are still at home? Get a sitter. You feel fat, you’re getting wrinkles, etc, etc, etc. If you try hard enough, you will find an excuse for anything. These lovely people waited 15 years between photo sessions. Please enjoy their images. I did.. taking them, processing them and now showing them. I hope Jen squeals a little when she sees them.

This is Melissa and Tayoh. Two lovebirds just starting out in life with a sweet engagement and a photo session to commemorate and forever preserve their sweet, young love. We met up about a week ago to enjoy the sunset. While the sunset was a little disappointing, their session was NOT. They were dressed perfectly and were naturals in front of the camera. I had a great time and we ended up with some amazing shots! Check them out below.

Next? Something a little different… and oh, so sweet. Meet Pam and Ed. We met up at the Everett Marina for a session just for them. When I was talking to Pam during the consultation, we found that they hadn’t had a professional, quality photo taken of just them in YEARS, if not decades. What a sweet, amazing way to celebrate being more in love than ever than to document it. Sign me up!

This session was AH-MAZ-ING. This is Heather, of Holson Photography, and her husband Jeremy. And they ROCKED. IT. They were SO natural in front of the camera. I was able to loosely pose them and then they had amazing chemistry. SO many giggles and kisses and so full of LOVE. It was great.
90% of my clients include at least one subject under a year old. I have mastered the art of bribery, cajoling, crazy dancing, shooting through tears and have memorized about twenty five MILLION kidlet songs. AND… I didn’t have to use a single ONE of these skills today. A breath of fresh air? YES!
Heather is the January recipient of my 2011 Photog Pay-it-Forward. We were going to start her shoot in an abandoned junk yard, but upon my arrival, said junk yard was being attended to by some local police. Needless to say, we skipped it in the interest of safety and headed right out to one of my favorite fields. Enjoy!

Meet Ray, his daughter, Olivia and his fiancee, Brieanne. We met up last weekend to enjoy one of the last sunny afternoons the Pacific Northwest has to offer for 2010 and capture images for Ray and Brieanne’s engagement and also some snaps for the trio’s new family. Despite some botched directions, the session was great and I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we had a blast!
At the end of the session as we were heading to the car, Brieanne mentioned that Ray is a local police offer and that she also works in law enforcement. This was the first I had heard of their occupations so I was glad to be able to tell her about the discount that I offer for U.S. military, firefighters, teachers aaaaaand… you guessed it: Police Officers! SO, note to YOU… if you are in one of these professions, let me know so I can thank you for your service to the community with a discount on your session fee!
And, enjoy Ray, Brieanne and Olivia’s sneak peek!

Edmonds area Engagement PhotographerLisa and Brendan are back!
The first part of their engagement session has already debuted but due to some cranky weather on the day of their shoot, we completed a supplemental sunset beach session last night. Thankfully, mother nature decided to cooperate for us. I’m sure you will agree, it was worth the wait. Peek below!

Everett area Wedding PhotographerThe big day is fast approaching… time for the e-session!
Engagement sessions are a great opportunity for the bride and groom to connect with their photographer before the BIG day and all of it’s stress, anxiety and general madness. The soon-to-be bride and groom for this engagment session are Lisa and Brendan. They are totally fun. I asked them to jump, they jumped. I asked them to runway walk, they did. I don’t think there was much they weren’t game for. Besides the stinkin’ wind!
It was so.so.so windy. To the point where my eyes were watering and my fingers were freeeeeeeeeeeezing. Lisa and Brendan were champs though and we did half of their e-session. We will complete the other half of their session at the beach, probably a sunset session, sometime soon when Mother Nature is a little less testy. But for now, enjoy this sneak peek!
Sneak peek… {engaged!} Luke & Annamarie

Seattle area Wedding PhotographerBrea… I’m engaged!
Meet Annamarie and Luke. You may recognize them from back in October when CYE Photography was running fall mini session sales. Anyway, they got ENGAGED over the holidays! Congratulations!
We three had such fun last weekend. We spent the early afternoon downtown in Seattle’s Pike Place Market and did some engagement pictures for these lovebirds. Let me tell you, these two were incredible sports! They were more than happy to meet my every wild request despite the incredibly public location and the breezy weather.
This is where I was considering mentioning the fact that Luke ended up having to wear one of Annamarie’s teeny t-shirts as an undershirt because he forgot his own but I don’t want to embarrass anyone…
The future Mr. & Mrs. T, enjoy your sneak peek!
Thanks for the fun!

Breanne and Chris are soon to be wed! Their big day is scheduled for August 8, 2009. I had the pleasure of capturing their engagement in images back in May (!). Breanne and Chris have been patiently waiting for the enhanced pictures from their session.
Well, lovebirds, I have great news! I have finished your edits as of about 5 minutes ago and will be mailing them ASAP. In the meantime, here is a sneak peek for you to enjoy.

Cheers!
