Back in early November, I had the pleasure of photographing my wonderful friends, their daughter and future son. The photo shoot was wonderful fun and we got to break the news to all their friends and family about the latest pregnancy via photos from their fall family session. They’ve also been seen on my blog before last year and the year before.
The latest session, and the sneak peek we are debuting today, is from Sydney’s maternity session for baby Bryson. We had some perfect spring weather and a nice hour together making some more memories for their family. I get the honor of photographing baby B’s birth and then newborn photos in a few weeks. Let’s just hope he stays still and cooks a little longer so the baby shower I’m throwing this Friday isn’t missing the guest of honor!

Luke and Annamarie are back AGAIN! One of the BEST parts of my job is making lasting relationships, which turn to friendships, and seeing a family start from nothing, to dating, to engaged, to married and then to children! I’ve been through every step with Annamarie. She was one of my first clients, EVER! The first time I photographer her, she was single and had just met this… guy a week previous. 6 months later I saw her again for a mini session event and this guy, Luke, was still around and now they were dating! Then a year or less later, she was calling to set up engagement and wedding photos.
Well, I heard from her again last September and now they are waiting on their first baby to arrive in a few short weeks! The baby is a little boy and his name will be….. KIDDING! I know what the name will be but it is still TOP SECRET. I’ll just say it is VERY cute and I can’t wait to put a face with that name.

Fog, and coyotes and amazing dresses – oh my!
Meet Kristen and Franco. They are soon to meet their baby boy. They met up with me last Wednesday at a secluded, hard to reach and LOVELY field area in the Mill Creek area. When I say ‘hard to reach,’ I mean it. We have to squeeze through a fence, wade through some very uneven terrain and even had a coyote come out to investigate what we were doing.
And it was so, SO worth it. Check out this hot mama below!

Sneak Peek… {new life} Rory & Brittni

Welcome Rory and Brittni to the CYE Photography family! They are expecting a baby boy and we met up last Sunday to document the pregnancy of their first child. And, let me tell you… it was so, SO cold. Like, the three shirts, two jackets, gloves, a scarf and STILL chilly kind of cold. Rory was even doing laps and jumping jacks to stay warm, no joke. Brittni was totally a trooper. At the very end of her session, she was on the fence as to whether to do a bare belly photo due to the low temps. She asked me: “If it was you, would you do it?” I replied: “Honestly? Yep. I’d trade 10 minutes of discomfort to forever remember the belly that way.” She was sold. And it was so, SO worth it. Sneak Peek… {family} | …and baby makes 4!

After weeks of knowing, waiting and rescheduling — the cat is out of the bag! Tom, Sydney and Taylin (whom we saw last year and the year before) will be welcoming a new addition in May of 2012. I was so honored to be able to help them break the news with a few special images from their family session last weekend that debuted on Facebook the evening of their photo shoot… 50 congratulatory comments and likes hit their pages within a few hours — what fun!

You know how pregnant women supposedly have a ‘glow’ about them? Well, I vote that idea is completely false, especially for myself.
Until now. Meet Regina… this lucky pregnant lady has that mythical glow going on. I met up with her and hubby last weekend for an end of fall outdoor belly session. She. Nailed. It. Hubs Brannon wasn’t too shabby either. I’m really looking forward to meeting their baby boy between Thanksgiving and Christmas!

I will preface this with a statement:
One of THE most beautiful maternity sessions I’ve ever done. EVER.
Meet Candace and John, one of my newest Baby Plan members! I have to say, I am SO excited to be spending the next 12+ months with these two. Not only are they easy on the eyes, but they are super fun, up for anything, very kind, and each with a great sense of humor. We met up a little over a week ago to celebrate a big milestone in their lives — the pregnancy of their first child! And, can I just say… they ROCKED it; perfect styling, gorgeous faces, and a great location. Keep an eye out for their newborn session in the next month or two.

Sneak Peek… {expecting} Katie & Chad | Everett Maternity Photographer

Katie, Chad, Nelson (the pooch) and I met up Sunday evening for a lovely, relaxed and warm belly session at Howarth Park in Everett. Katie and Chad are soon to expect their first baby; a boy! There are still a few weeks left to go in the pregnancy, and Katie still looks great! All belly. No face pregnancy, or rear-end pregnancy going on at all!! I am very jealous. It seems that, for me, as soon as I hit that, oh you know, 6 week mark, my chins are pregnant. Very pregnant.
In short, great session. Much fun was had with all the accessories. Enjoy the pics!
