This baby girl may not have slept but 10 minutes of our 2.5 hour session but she did not cry or squeal once. She was an absolute cherub! Very awake and alert at 15 days but a complete joy. Parents, Dr. Jason and Dr. Marisa were on hand for our get together and were the best cheering squad a 2 weeker could ever ask for.

The best thing about this honey girl? Her skin! I did not have to retouch her lovely roses and cream skin AT ALL. No joke, no hyperbole, no exagerration. I took care of a little milk mouth but that was it. Her downy blond hair was a close second favorite and big blue eyes a not-far-behind third. The session summed up in one word? A pleasure. Lisa and Brendan are back!

The first part of their engagement session has already debuted but due to some cranky weather on the day of their shoot, we completed a supplemental sunset beach session last night. Thankfully, mother nature decided to cooperate for us. I’m sure you will agree, it was worth the wait. Peek below!

The big day is fast approaching… time for the e-session!

Engagement sessions are a great opportunity for the bride and groom to connect with their photographer before the BIG day and all of it’s stress, anxiety and general madness. The soon-to-be bride and groom for this engagment session are Lisa and Brendan. They are totally fun. I asked them to jump, they jumped. I asked them to runway walk, they did. I don’t think there was much they weren’t game for. Besides the stinkin’ wind!

It was so.so.so windy. To the point where my eyes were watering and my fingers were freeeeeeeeeeeezing. Lisa and Brendan were champs though and we did half of their e-session. We will complete the other half of their session at the beach, probably a sunset session, sometime soon when Mother Nature is a little less testy. But for now, enjoy this sneak peek!

Brea… I’m engaged!

Meet Annamarie and Luke. You may recognize them from back in October when CYE Photography was running fall mini session sales. Anyway, they got ENGAGED over the holidays! Congratulations!

We three had such fun last weekend. We spent the early afternoon downtown in Seattle’s Pike Place Market and did some engagement pictures for these lovebirds. Let me tell you, these two were incredible sports! They were more than happy to meet my every wild request despite the incredibly public location and the breezy weather.

This is where I was considering mentioning the fact that Luke ended up having to wear one of Annamarie’s teeny t-shirts as an undershirt because he forgot his own but I don’t want to embarrass anyone…
